PI’s Plastic Pedestals offer solutions for a wide range of scenarios. Made with a high impact co-polymer polypropylene, the pedestal is UV, impact, and crush resistant. The flared plastic base provides increased stability in new construction with more room to store drop cables and conduit systems. Multiple bracket configurations are available for mounting traditional cable system equipment, FOSC’s, etc. Specialty brackets can be ordered to customize the pedestals to project requirements, such as in pedestal fiber slack storage for FTTH applications. Pedestal height can be increased in the field from 28” to 41” or from 14” to 18” with an upgrade kit, making upgrades easier and faster without the cost of replacing the entire unit.
